Venue
The 2004 Congress will be held at Law School of Manchester Metropolitan University. Manchester Metropolitan University is a modern, forward-looking university that, whilst being one of the largest universities in the country has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The conference will be housed in the brand new, purpose-built Law School building which is located in the heart of the city centre, close to the a wide range of accommodation, and within a short walking distance to China Town, the heart of Manchester’s shopping centre and the Gay Village. Manchester’s International airport is close by, and a short train journey will bring you to the city centre. The city’s train stations are a short cab ride away.
Accommodation
Within the conference campus, single study bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities at Cambridge Hall. Opened in 1998, Cambridge Hall offers excellent accommodation in the heart of Manchester. The 767 single study bedrooms are arranged in flats of 5 or 10 with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities in each flat. Each bedroom is equipped with a washbasin and a towel is provided with a change each day. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the kitchens. Rooms are available for delegates with disabilities and a number of car parking spaces may be available for disabled guests. No other parking is available on this site. Hall receptions are staffed 24hours a day.
A Single Study bedroom at Cambridge Hall can be booked direct with the Conference Organisers, using the registration form.

Being situated in the city centre, there are many hotels near to the conference venue. You will need to book these separately (if we book them for you we have to charge a 25% surcharge).
