Some common questions
- Why am I not receiving the list?
You may not be subscribed, or your subscription may have lapsed because too many messages were bounced. Try joining the list again; see joining the list, above. If that doesn’t work, email the list administrators: listadmin@pfc.org.uk - Why are my posts not getting through to the list?
Because you are not allowed to post to the list ! See sending mail to the list, above. - I’ve changed my email address, and want to change my subscription to my new address.
From your new email account, just send a message to the server asking to join PFC-NEWS (instructions above). When your new subscription is confirmed, send a message from your old email account (if you still have access to it) to cancel that subscription.
If that doesn’t work for you, just send a message to the list admins at listadmin@pfc.org.uk, and please remember to tell us what you old address was and what your new one is. - How can I get a list of other subscribers?
You can’t. We keep this information confidential. - Where are the list archives? How can I retrieve old postings?
Full archives of this list are available on the web. They are also searchable. - Why can’t I have full civil rights now?
We’re working on it :) And we need your help.
