Royal College of Psychiatrist's Working Group Consultation Responses
Group Responses | Individual Responses
The public consultation on “Good Practice Guidelines for the Assessment and Treatment of Gender Dysphoria” began on 3rd November 2006 and the deadline for submissions passed on 16th February 2007.
During that period of time Press for Change has assisted with ensuring the widest possible involvement of stakeholders by hosting a copy of the draft guidelines for people to download and read, and by encouraging as many people as possible to submit their own views. During the consultation period over 13,500 downloads have taken place, though we don’t know how many more copies have also been downloaded from the Royal College’s own website.
For a reminder of what the consultation aimed to do, see Dr Kevan Wylie’s introductory letter.
We are now hosting a selection of the consultation responses.
