This paper focuses on the assessment of the status of Nigerian women with regards to sex. It basis its assessment on the impact of religion and culture on the issue at stake.
An expository and critical approach will be employed following an explorative and contextual milieu. The research findings centre on the following:
- Religious/cultural imperative on sex and women
- The impact of such imperative on gender assessment.
The recommendations resulting from the research focus inter- alia on the need to expose Nigerian women to sexual freedom with an aim to curbing all unethical influences derived thereby.
